Pusoy is played with a standard 52-card deck split across three hands — front, middle, and back. Each hand is ranked using poker-style combinations, but the order in which you set them matters as much as the hands themselves. The back hand must be the strongest, the middle second, and the front the weakest. A Royal Flush is the ceiling — Ace,

King, Queen, Jack, Ten of the same suit. Below it sits the Straight Flush, then Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair, and High Card at the base. Setting a stronger hand in front than in the back is a foul — your hands are automatically lost.

Pusoy Hand Rankings: What You Need to Know

A Full House outranks a Flush in Pusoy. Above the Full House sits Four of a Kind, then a Straight Flush, and finally a Royal Flush at the very top of the hand rankings.

Yes. Three of a Kind always beats Two Pair in the Pusoy hand ranking order. Two Pair sits just above One Pair, while Three of a Kind ranks one level higher than Two Pair.

Ties are broken by comparing the highest-ranking cards within the hand type. For example, two players with a Flush compare their highest card first, then the next highest until one hand wins.

Suits matter when deciding between same-rank Straight Flushes and Royal Flushes. In most Pusoy formats, suits are ranked from highest to lowest: Spades, Hearts, Clubs, then Diamonds.

The front hand in Pusoy is only three cards, so it cannot form a Flush or Straight. Valid front hands are Three of a Kind, One Pair, or High Card — and it must be the weakest of your three hands.
